As per the comment above, grain prices have started to top and a direct result may be higher pork and meat prices going forward.

WCTS Spotlight for the week of August 1st, 2008

Hello and welcome back to WCTS Spotlight

Palladium prices have fallen more than $200 from their panic peak in Late 2007. Suggesting further weakness, price broke an important consolidation area two weeks ago and continue to suggest further price weakness going forward. The diagram above suggests a target at or slightly below $300/oz. Other metals too have bearish chart patterns working suggesting the entire complex may move appreciably lower over the coming weeks and maybe even months.

WCTS Spotlight for the week of July 18th, 2008

Hello and welcome back to WCTS Spotlight

As the picture above suggests, there is a potential for FCOJ to appreciate 20% from these levels. Considering the history of damage to crops in the Southern US as we head into this years hurricane season, buying an out of the money call option might be a very profitable venture. Try to buy the call where if the market where to move back to the 50% level, the option would have an intrinsic value twice what you paid (ie 1.50 call at 1.59 has intrinsic value of .09 and you bought the option for less than .045).
